love feels like. What happiness feels like. What hope feels like. I am numb.
just as much on the inside as the outside. Just like me. He doesn’t speak. He
doesn’t smile. He hides in the woods like an animal. I should be scared of him. But I’m not. He’s
the only one that has ever made me feel. And I want to make him feel, too.
This book is a tribute to the human spirit and how one woman after having dealt with unthinkable trauma is able to find love not only with her prince but learns to love the woman she has become. Holly was abducted ten years ago as a child and struggled every day to survive by relying on her fairy tale books to comfort her. Tyler was burnt in a bonfire accident that changed his life and forced him into seclusion in the woods where others could not judge him. Tyler stumbles upon Holly hidden in the woods and rescues her. This changes both of their lives forever. Holly must now learn to rebuild her life with a family that does not know how to accept her back in their lives. The only place she feels safe is with Tyler and Holly fills that void that Tyler felt was missing in his life. This story was magical in a sense. The inner strength that Holly had even after all that had happened to her was remarkable and left me cheering for her success. The unexpected twist that linked them together took me by surprise but it was the ending that made this fairy tale complete.
I have a passion for the bad boys, those covered in tattoos, sexy smirks, ripped jeans, fast cars, motorcycles and of course, the sweet girls that try to tame them and win their hearts. My debut series, Ashes & Embers, follows the lives of rock band members as they find, and sometimes lose, the loves of their lives.
Born and raised a Jersey girl, I now reside in beautiful New Hampshire with my husband and our multitude of furry pets and spend most of my time writing, reading, and vacuuming.
